Website Corrections

Send all web page corrections to the web editor, making sure to first note the targeted page’s URL at the top of your email, followed by clear instructions. (The URL is located at the top of a browser page and typically starts with "http://www.")

Example:

On http://www.cca.edu/academics/extended/illustration change “thrid” to “third” in the second paragraph, fourth sentence.

Please allow several days for the web editor to make the correction(s). Compiled requests are addressed twice a week.

Urgent Corrections

Immediately contact the web editor to report all urgent content errata.

Note: incorrect grammar and punctuation, including typographical and other miscellaneous errata, are considered not urgent.

Requests for urgent corrections are made at the discretion of the web editor, and typically done on a same-day basis, time permitting.

The following list, although not exhaustive, comprises occurrences that warrant immediate notification:

  • plagiarism or copyright infringement
  • incorrect credits (artists, administration, faculty)
  • libelous or inflammatory content
  • media-related errors
  • misstatements that are potentially injurious to CCA
  • significantly incorrect financial amounts (e.g., $100 versus $1,000)
  • unauthorized published data
