Artist Joyce J. Scott receives honorary Doctor of Fine Arts from CCA

Known for her politically charged large-scale installations, figurative sculptures, and performance art, Joyce J. Scott is the 2019 recipient of an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts from CCA.

Joyce J. Scott performs in the well received, infamously raucous Thunder Thigh Review in 2012. Her performance partner is Kay Lawal-Muhammad
