Student Spotlight: Sarah Herlugson

I had always intended to pursue a degree in interior design. My passion for architecture developed along the way. I attended the Fashion Institute of Design Merchandising in 2008 and have spent the last few years working in the Bay Area. I found that what I enjoy most about the industry is that it's all encompassing, and I've had the pleasure of working with professionals from many different design backgrounds.

I was drawn to CCA because it allows me the opportunity to expand upon what I've already learned, while broadening my knowledge of design. CCA offers an abundance of resources and provides a diverse environment where you learn just as much from your peers as you do your teachers. While there's no denying the architecture program is a challenge, there's never a shortage of possibilities, and the skills I've acquired will extend far beyond the walls of the classroom.
